30 Day Writing Challenge - Day 4

Day 4: Write a brief obituary for an inanimate object near you.

Ballpoint Pen ran out of ink at 1:13pm on Saturday, June 16. No more will we be honored by the words it scribbled, the doodles it created or the magic it brought to life. We are only left with the joy of knowing it. Ballpoint Pen is survived by Graphite Pencil-Pen, and 2 crayons, Midnight Blue and Wild Strawberry. Services will be held at the kitchen trash can.

On January 4, 2022, Samsung s10e passed away of unknown causes. A true workhorse and constant companion, she provided instant information and constant entertainment to her faithful owner. She is survived by Dell Laptop and Kindle Fire. The myriad pictures taken captured memories which her owner dutifully saved to the Almighty Cloud, so that they may live on in her name. She will be missed. Services will be closed case.
