In a perfect world, we would all die peacefully in our sleep. We slip comfortably and warmly into bed, reflecting on the day's moments, thinking of tomorrow's intentions; reading ourselves to sleep, hoping the words on the page might conjure dreams to continue the story. As we drift into slumber, we lay there, our world in black, we simply breathe our last breath and our story ceases to continue. No pain, no fear, no knowledge that our heart has drummed the very last beat of its life's rhythm.
