Carpe diem...every diem

Why do the best things never last? Like long weekends, good hair days and chocolate cake? You’re sitting there, minding your own business, enjoying whatever it is and BAM! POW! No more lazy Sunday mornings, frizz-free curls or yummy goodness. Poof – gone in an instant, as if it was never there in the first place. So unfair! I mean, come on. But such is life.

How do we maintain those moments of bliss, those glimpses of joy? By finding the good in everyday situations. In people, in nature. In ourselves. Some days you might have to dig deep but the effort will be worth it. Who wouldn’t want to feel good all the time? And if all else fails, just eat more cake!
